Inland Empowerment is a collaboration of nine community-based organizations who believe in affecting change in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties through collaborative civic engagement programs and intersectional organizing. Inland Empowerment envisions a region of civically engaged residents dedicated to building power and leading the creation of diverse, healthy, safe, and thriving communities. Our goal is to engage underrepresented and long-ignored communities, voters, stakeholders, and leaders in order to build power needed to revitalize the Inland Region. By engaging and activating underrepresented communities, we can build power to create a just, equitable, and inclusive government and economy.
Inland Empowerment partners build community leadership and organize policy campaigns around a broad spectrum of issues which impact families in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Issue focus is a key component of Inland Empowerment’s Integrated Voter Engagement programs. Inland Empowerment serves to strengthen the impact and effectiveness of all of these campaigns through building the electoral and political power of neighborhoods and communities who are most impacted by these issues and fostering intersectional collaboration among partner organizations.
